Inaugural Freedom Bowl to be Hosted at Milton High School
Milton High School is the host of the 2018 Freedom Bowl, a competition that brings together 12 of America's top high school football teams to compete in six games over two days. The event encompasses more than 800 players and 200 coaches to promote high school football and player development.
Launched for the first time this year, the Freedom Bowl aims to educate student athletes, coaches, their families and fans on true heroism and to support those who serve and support our nation. It also seeks to inspire youth in character, leadership and teamwork skills, both on and off the field.
The Freedom Bowl is invitation only and allows teams to compete on a national level, providing experience playing others outside their region or state. Tickets are available online for $15 per day and $10 for parking. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Charity Foundation to support the purchase of EksoGT exoskeletons, a wearable device that helps disabled veterans walk again.
